Technical SEO

Technical SEO: It is the SEO process of optimizing your website for the crawling and indexing phase. With technical SEO you can assist search engines to access, crawl, interpret, and index your content. It is called technical because it has nothing to do with the actual content of the website or with website promotion.

The main goal of technical SEO is to optimize the infrastructure of a website. It is a very important step in SEO because if there are problems with your technical SEO, the search engine may not be able to index your content and this will negatively impact your SEO effects.

It is thus crucial to perform a technical SEO audit and fix any error before you proceed with any other task.

You should register your website with a Google search console to check for crawl errors and correct them. You should check and optimize your robots.txt file. Robots.txt is a file that gives instructions to search engines as to which pages of your site they can crawl and index. A mistake in this file can negatively impact your rankings.
